The School of Fashion, in association with Kovai Makkal Sevai Maiyyam and Idea Max, jointly organized a Handloom Fashion Show at A.V.P. College of Arts and Science on 7th August 2026. The event was held in the Multipurpose Hall at 1:30 p.m.
A total of 63 students participated in the fashion show, showcasing their talent and creativity in promoting handloom garments.
The winners of the competition were:
* First Place: R. Bairavi (III CDF)
* Second Place: S. Vanisri (III CDF)
* Third Place: N. Jeevarani (III CDF)
R. Bairavi was also selected as the A.V.P. College Brand Ambassador for the academic year 2026–2027. In addition, she has been selected to participate in the Final Round of the Handloom Fashion Show.
