National Service Scheme (NSS) - A.V.P. College of Arts and Science

The motto of NSS is “Not me But you’. The sole aim of NSS is to provide hand on experience to young students in delivering community service. NSS Volunteers will get much exposure and experience to be an accomplished social leader, an efficient administrator and a person who understands human nature. Serving to the society is the purpose of NSS. In our college NSS is actively functioning from the year 2016 with 1 unit which consists of 100 volunteers. So far 4 special camps were done by adopting 2 nearby villages Pallipalayam and Chettipalyam. Along with that Eye Camps were also done every year by inviting specialists from different Hospitals. Many awareness programmes and rallies will be done every year.
